Youth Programs

Youth with disabilities between the ages of 14 and 26 who are in the transition process from school to work or community-based living receive transition services as they are preparing for postsecondary life.

Pre-Employment Transition Services

Pre-Employment Transition Services, also called “Pre-ETS,” — offered to any student with a disability — this school-based classroom program aids students in exploring and planning for successful future employment, through targeted training in:

  • Career exploration

  • Workplace readiness

  • Counseling on postsecondary education

  • Developing soft skills, e.g., communication, time management, etc.

  • Self-advocacy

  • Work-based learning
